I AM NOW TAKING BOOKINGS FOR CLASSES FOR 2022
As it is not possible to remain at a 2m distance throughout the class, I am currently only taking bookings from people who have had both their Covid 19 Vaccinations
(I have had both of mine)
All classes are held in my professional studio near to Wem, Shropshire. All classes are booked for a mutually convinent date and can be either 1-2-1 or yourself and a friend (2 students max).
Tea and Coffee are provided for all classes, and for full day classes a light lunch. I have a collection of glass books that you are welcome to browse while you are here and a selection of beads by other makers as well as some of my own work on display.
I run a short taster class, a longer 4 week introduction course, and I am also happy to offer one off or longer term classes focusing on learning specific skill and techniques or helping you to create a piece of glass art of your own design
Fusing Taster Session
An introduction to some of the different forms glass comes in and ways to work with it safely, making 3 projects -a trinket dish, pendant and coaster or wall hanging which will then be fired and ready for you to collect a few days after the class

Introduction to Kiln worked glass
4 week course
A structured introduction to kiln working glass, covering the theory behind kiln work as well as practical skils, learning to cut glass and working with glass in different forms from sheet to powder
